Free tools for your practice

Small, practical utilities built for Indian CAs — free to download and use. Each one runs entirely on your own computer. No sign-up, and none of your client data ever leaves your machine.

SUM-IT Ledger Automation Tool

Turn your clients' bank statements into ready-to-import accounting entries. Upload a statement (Excel, CSV, or PDF from any bank) and the tool reads each transaction, sorts it into the right ledger, and produces a ledger-wise Receipts & Payments report — plus import files for Tally and Zoho Books. It learns as you work: the first time you identify a party, it remembers, so future statements are categorised automatically. Hours of manual data entry become a few minutes per statement.

Windows · self-contained (no install needed) · ~100 MB download · How to use it →

Two quick notes: On first launch you may see a Windows security prompt — click More info → Run anyway; the tool is safe and runs entirely on your own computer. And it takes up to a minute to open the first time (it loads everything it needs at startup) — that's normal, just wait for the window to appear.
